The last time I posted more than three pictures in a months is now 7 months ago. It is amazing that work can kill creativity that much. Anyway this month I managed it to took quite a few pictures - most of them were at the wedding I was covering last weekend. Today I was in a zoo and I will probably post a few photographs I have taken there. This on is an artic wolf. Artic wolfs life in very rough and cold areas. To cope with the temperature their ears and the legs are very small.

Das letzte Mal, dass ich mehr als drei Photos hier eingestellt habe, ist nun 7 Monate her. Es ist schon komisch, wie sehr die Arbeit doch die Kreativität zunichte machen kann... Aber gut. Diesen Monate habe ich es mal wieder geschafft und es folgenden hoffentlich noch ein paar Bilder. Denn heute war ich im Zoo. Der Wolf, der zu sehen ist, ist ein Polarwolf. Diese leben in sehr rauen und kalten Gegenden. Um die Temperaturen aushalten zu können, sind die Nasen und auch die Beine sehr kurz.

As you can see I bought some trendy trash for silly portraits :-) There are a few little things why I am not really happy with the shot but today is my last vacation day and therefore I already know that there won't be much time for repeating this session soon. I might try to take a series of this kind of pictures later on.

Wie Du auf dem Photo sehen kannst, habe ich ein wenig trendigen Trash gekauft, um eine paar Portraits zu machen. Mit ein paar Kleinigkeiten des Bildes bin ich nicht wirklich zufrieden; aber da heute mein letzter Urlaubstag ist, weiß ich, dass ich in naher Zukunft sicher nicht dazu kommen werde diese Serie zu erweitern. Aber vielleicht kommt das ja noch.

Yesterday I was covering a wedding and now I am completely exhausted. Carrying around a camera for 12 hours is enough for me. But at least I took a huge bunch of pictures. I can’t even remember the last time I spend so much time with photography. Today I managed it to look at the first pictures, which were taken at the hairdresser as you might have recognised from today’s entry.
I also started to work a bit with my categories. A while ago I was searching a pictures with the same format and realised that it takes far too long to click on every category and so I started to create categories with the format of the picture.

Gestern habe ich mal wieder eine Hochzeit fotografiert und nun bin ich völlig ko. Nach 12 Stunden ist so eine Kamera doch enorm schwer... Aber immerhin habe ich so mal wieder einen ganzen Berg Bilder gemacht. Ich kann mich schon gar nicht mehr daran erinnern, wann ich mich so viel mit dem Photographieren auseinander gesetzt habe. Heute bin ich auch schon die erste Bilderreihe beim Friseur durchgegangen, wie Du vielleicht schon an meinem heutigen Eintrag gesehen hast.
Außerdem mag ich noch berichten, dass ich ein wenig an der Webseite hier gebastelt habe. Als ich neulich Bilder nach dem Format gesucht habe, ist mir aufgefallen, dass dies viel zu lange dauert und so habe ich nun Kategorien für die unterschiedlichen Formate aufgemacht. Keine Ahnung, ob das jemandem außer mir etwas bringt; aber ich finde es ganz hilfreich.

After starting my vacation being ill I am now coming slowly into the vacation mood and it is quite hard to do anything at all. At least I managed it to put some information about my coming exhibition up (in case you are in Cologne next Friday feel free to come). Additionally I started framing the pics. My next plan is to take some shots but therefore I prefer much better weather.

Nachdem ich meine ersten Urlaubstage krank im Bett verbracht habe, komme ich so langsam in Urlaubsstimmung. Auch wenn ich mich noch nicht so wirklich aufraffen kann, etwas gescheites zu tun. Immerhin habe ich endlich ein paar Informationen zu meiner nächsten Ausstellung ins Netz gestellt. Die Kunstausstellung wird am 11.April in Kön sein und ich würde mich über Deinen Besuch freuen. Gestern habe ich noch ein paar weitere Photographien bestellt und den anderen Schwung gerahmt, so dass ich langsam startklar bin.
Das heutige Bild ist auf dem Balkon eines Restaurants in Havanna entstanden. Im Hintergrund ist ein Herr zu sehen, der Maschinen in einem sehr beeindruckenden Saal repariert.

This picture was taken somewhere in the west of Cuba and I am still amazed by the balance of the two. I guess they were used to going from one place to another like this.

Das Bild habe ich im Westen von Kuba gemacht und ich bin noch immer von der Balance der beiden begeistert.

At least I am taking flower shots. It has been very quite over here during the last months. And I would be very pleased if I could tell you that this will all change. But I guess it won't change. At the end of this week I am going to have vacation and therefore I am hoping to be able to do some new pics. I won't travel somewhere but there should be enough oportunities in Bonn.

Immerhin mache ich noch hin und wieder ein paar Blümchenbilder... Es würde mich doch sehr freuen, wenn ich berichten könnte, dass hier demnächst endlich mal wieder mehr passiert; aber ich befürchte, dass es auch zukünftig recht ruhig hier sein wird. Ende der nächsten Woche habe ich Urlaub und auch wenn ich nicht wegfahre, so wird es sicherlich die ein oder andere Möglichkeit für neue Photos geben. Juchu.

A street shot taken some time ago - the socks are a bit overexposed but anyway I like it. While trying to upload the file I had to realise that I did not have any webspace left; therefore I had to do some "cleaning" first. Now I can continue uploading stuff - but therefore it would be great if I would have some new stuff to show you. Hope you had a great weekend and keep on thinking blue skies :-)

Ein Straßenbild, dass ich schon seit einer Weile auf meiner Festplatte schlummern habe. Das Hochladen war gerade nicht so wirklich einfach, da mein Speicherplatz wohl aufgebraucht war, so dass ich erst mal ein wenig aufrämen musste. Nun habe ich zwar immer noch nicht wirklich neue Bilder; aber immerhin könnte ich sie in das Blog stellen.
