For one reason I am not happy with my entry for today: after all these black and white pictures I wanted to have something very colourful! And now you can see how good I was with realising my plan. BUT for a lot of other reasons I am quite happy with the result. I have been to a party on Friday where I have seen this old typewriter. Sadly my camera was at home and today I went back and there I had the chance to take the shot!
Aus einem Grund bin ich doch etwas unglücklich mit meinem heutigen Eintrag: nach all den schwarz und weiß Aufnahmen der letzten Tage wollte ich eigentlich etwas so richtig mächtig buntes in den Blog setzen. Daraus ist ja nun nix geworden, wie man sehen kann. Dennoch bin ich aus vielen anderen Gründen mit dem Bild so richtig zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Die alte Schreibmaschine habe ich am Freitag auf einer Party gesehen und wußte sofort, dass ich das als Bild haben mag. Dummerweise hatte ich meine Kamera nicht dabei, da ich beschlossen hatte, dass ich ja nicht immer und überall mit meiner Kamera hingehen muss. Als ich heute wieder dort war, konnte ich dann das Bild machen.

Fantastisch! The sepia tone is so appropriate for something old like this. The perspective is great; it makes this look like an imposing construction. If I didn't recognise the manufacturer (nor read your commentary), I'm not sure that I would know what this is. Very nice shot.

Wow, the writing and the macro shot make this typewrite like a bulding of the '20s, like a kino or a theatre. Sehr schoen! :-)
