This shot is just a fun shot. It is a painted wall in the building where I work. The artist name is Penck and someone told me that he is a well known artist. After looking at the wall for a while I decided that I definitively have no sense for art. IMO every kid would have been able to paint a much nicer picture! The reason why I post this one is because the artist wrote London next to the naked blue guy and therefore I dedicate my today's entry to all the London photobloggers. Maybe you can tell me if there is a connection between the blue guy and London...
Das heutige Bild setzte ich mehr oder weniger aus Spaß in meinen Blog. Das Bild ist ein Teil eines Wandgemäldes, welches in dem Gebäude zu finden ist, wo ich arbeite. Der Künstler
heißt Penck und mir wurde gesagt, dass er auch recht bekannt sei. Nachdem ich mir die Wand eine ganze Weile angeschaut habe, bin ich zu dem Entschluss gekommen, dass ich keinen Sinn für die Kunst zu haben scheine. Nach meiner Meinung wäre jedes Kind in der Lage ein besseres Bild zu malen! Aber gut... Kunst ist halt eben doch eine Geschmacksache. Der Grund, dieses Bild heute reinzusetzen ist, dass der gute Künstler neben den nackigen blauen Kerl London geschrieben hat und somit habe ich beschlossen das Bild den Londoner Photobloggern zu widmen. Vielleicht kann mir ja auch noch irgendjemand erklären, wo der Zusammenhand zwischen dem blauen Nackedei und London liegt... oder mir vielleicht diese Art von Kunst näher zu bringen...

Well, if people think that there are a lo of naked blue guys running around in London that's not the case ;-) (ans thank goodness for that!) Maybe what it's trying to say is that London is very male dominated - to which I would think no it's not. Then again it could mean anything.
What I do know is this - it's a GREAT shot!

I'm like you sometimes when I see paintings I think even kids can do that ... especially paintings of random dots and lines. But as you said I probably don't get it because I have no sense for art.
