The pictures I am posting at the moment are the ones I didn’t want to post. Why? Because I don’t like them enough. But being without my camera means no new shots and so I have two options: a) not posting at all or b) posting the one I have left on my hard disk. So I’ve decided to post some stuff. I took this shot on my first walk through Bonn (Bad Godesberg) with my camera. Probably the tree looks much more alive now.
Another thing I can mention over here is that I have changed my strategy for receiving a phone connection. So probably I will have a phone at the end of this week or the middle of the next one which is not that far away anymore. And then I will be able to look at the pictures other people are posting at the moment -> I am looking forward to that!!! Thanks for all your comments and sorry for not replying; it’s a bit difficult without access to the internet… Greetings from here to there! Marina
Die Bilder, die ich zur Zeit hochlade, wollte ich eigentlich nicht in den Blog setzen. Warum? Ganz einfach, weil ich sie nicht genug mag. Aber ohne meine Kamera zu sein, bedeutet, dass ich auch keine neuen Bilder machen kann und somit habe ich eigentlich nur zwei Möglichkeiten: a) man gar nichts neues reinzusetzen oder b) die, die ich noch auf der Festplatte habe, zu verwenden. Wie man erkennen kann, habe ich mich durchgerungen, ein paar Dinge hier der Welt zu zeigen. Das heutige Bild ist auf einem meiner ersten Rundgänge durch Bonn (Bad Godesberg) mit meiner Kamera entstanden. Wahrscheinlich sieht der Baum nun doch schon etwas lebendiger aus.
Außerdem kann ich hier noch berichten, dass ich eine neue Telefonanschlussstrategie entwickelt habe, was zur Folge hat, dass ich meinen Anschluss schon Ende dieser Woche/Mitte der nächsten Woche bekomme. Und das hört sich für mich schon etwas besser an. Glücklicherweise kann ich mir dann auch endlich mal wieder ein paar andere Blogs anschauen -> was mich doch mächtig freut. Danke für all die Kommentare der letzten zeit und irgendwann werde ich auch mal ich der Lage sein, darauf zu antworten... Grüße von hier nach da! Marina

Don't worry about replying, I understand, I've been in that situation for years and I know how'd you feel. I wish you'll get your camera back soon, I missed the night and train shots already :)
This shot could pass for being an old 70s shot with those tones....It would do my head in if I didnt have the web....chin up, you will be back with a vengence Im sure ;)
I actually like this image. The dry tree is well frames between the walls and the stairs and complements the "sterile" feels of these naked rocks. It reminds me of the dead tree of the kings of old, in Minas Tirith of Lord of the Rings. Maybe is just biding its time for a renewed blossoming...
