It is getting much harder to find something on my hard disk which is not too terrible to post. This is a picture I took in February. I had decided not to post it because I had already posted a similar shot (it can be seen here). While looking at the shot today I realised that the atmosphere would change a lot through converting the picture to b&w. Additionally I used the sepia filter to make it a bit warmer.
The long weekend is nearly over and I am getting excited if I will get my camera back this week. So if you hear something in the news about a small and evil person making a mess in Bonn you don't have to wonder who it might be and why...

Das lange Wochenende ist schon wieder fast vorbei und ich werde erneut gespannt, ob ich meine Kamera in dieser Woche endlich wieder bekomme. Solltest Du in der nächsten Woche etwas von einer kleinen und gemeinen Person hören, die in Bonn ein Chaos verursacht, dann weißt Du nun sicherlich, wer das wohl gewesen sein könnte und warum...

Ich würde da jetzt jedenfalls gerne stehen und diesen Blick haben (auch wenn ich natürlich einen etwas anderen hätte...).

I wish I could respond in german sometimes, just for once, I could ask the wife but that would be cheating :P .....anyway this is gorgeous Marina, I love those subtle lights, a beautiful picture with excellent tones.
Hard drive hunting. Favourite passive-aggressive past time of the serious photoblogger I'm afraid.
Try using Picasa, it's free software from the google folks, first time you load and run it, it scours your ENTIRE hard drive and digs up quickly EVERY photo you've ever parked on the drive. It's like flickr but on you own 'puter. Works Wonders.

An dieser Stelle erstmal Danke für deinen SiteBesuch. Freut mich doch immer wenn mal jemand neues vorbeischaut. Habe auch einen Großteil deiner Bilder durchgeschaut, respekt, gefallen mir seht gut. Besonders, wie nicht anders zu erwarten die Nacht/Bewegt-Aufnahmen aus dem Traffic Sektor. Ich liebe diese Art der Bilder.
Nun hoffe ich das es bei dir bald weiter geht.
So wie ich es gelesen habe hast du nach/neben Umzugsstress auch noch ein krankes Baybee?! Was hast denn gemacht mit dem guten Teil?
Zudem, die Suche nach dem passenden Objektiv ist manchmal garnicht so lang... Um so länger jedoch der nichtsfindende Blick in den Geldbeutel :(
Ich denke hier liegt das Problem all unseres Hobbies.
Nun denn, in diesem Sinne, liebe und nächtliche Grüße aus der Stadt der Banken... Lass mal wieder von dir hören :D

Die hohe Qualität deiner Bilder begeistert mich. Ich stelle fest, dass ich noch viel lernen muss.
Das B/W-Bild hier gefällt mir besser als das farbige, früher gepostete.

Dieses hatte ich bisher übersehen (Dank an die most commented-Liste).. Ein geniales Bild, mich erinnert es an englische Krimischmöker a la Jerry Cotton. In B/W find ich das Motiv deutlich spannender als in Farbe.

I really like much more this one. The darker tones gives it an air more misterious, and the vertical perspective suits it better.
