Two sentences to start with:
1) It can't rain all the time and there is always some light!
2) I am really crazy but I have to add it feels so bloody good :)
My camera is back home *yes* and as I mentioned before I wanted to buy a present for my baby. Some days ago I finally decided to buy the macro 100/2.8. But guess what happened today. I ended up with the lens in my rucksack AND the 70-200/4.0 will arrive on Wednesday :) what a day! For buying these lenses I had to drive more than 300 kilometers and therefore I didn't had that much time to test the new toy but here is one of my first tries which I took in a church close to where I left all my money.
Additionally to this entry I have uploaded another picture which is living on my hard disk since December. It's the first shot on this site which is not taken by me. Maike took it on the day my camera arrived and I was smiling the whole time - so it might give you an idea about who I am looking at the moment (and no; I don't have these blue eyes ;- )

2) Ich bin total verrückt aber es fühlt sich verdammt gut an :)
Meine Kamera ist endlich wieder daheim *juchu* und wie ich schon erwähnt hatte, wollte ich ihr ein Geschenk machen. Vor ein paar Tagen hatte ich mich dann für ein 100er Makro 2.8 entschieden. Aber rate, was heute dann geschah! Letztendlich stand ich da mit dem Makro in meinem Rucksack UND das 70-200/4.0 bekomme ich am Mittwoch :) was für ein Tag! Um die Objektive zu kaufen, bin ich mehr als 200 Kilometer gefahren, so dass ich dann kaum noch Zeit hatte, mein neues Spielzeug auszuprobieren. Das heutige Bild ist eins der ersten Testbilder, welches ich in einer Kirche in der Nähe vom Objektiv-Kauf-Ort aufgenommen habe.
Zusätzlich habe ich noch ein weiteres Bild hochgeladen, das schon seit Dezember auf meiner Festplatte wohnt. Es ist das erste Bild auf dieser Seite, dass nicht von mir selbst aufgenommen wurde. Maike hat es am Tag photographiert, an dem ich meine Kamera bekommen habe und ich war die ganze Zeit am Grinsen - so kann nun vielleicht ein jeder daraus schließen, wie ich heute ausschaue (und nein, ich habe nicht solche blauen Augen ;- )

I'm very happy when I read your posting today. Glad to hear that you have your baby back, is this mean you will have 2 pictures a day :)
I will be in japan next week and after that I will going to indonesia. I won't be able to post anything or give a comment until next month.

You will love the 100mm f/2.8 macro lens - just got one recently and it is superb. And the 70-200..I am jealous!! I have no 'L' series glass yet, but someday....
