"Come with me
Into the trees
We’ll lay on the grass
And let the hours pass
Take my hand
Come back to the land
Let’s get away
Just for one day
Let me see you
Stripped down to the bone"
(Depeche Mode - Stripped)
OK, here it is (and I prefer yesterdays version...)! On my way to work my playlist was in the shuffle mode and when I heard the song I thought that it's a must to quote the lyrics next to the picture (I know: dragonflies don't have any bones)! (And for everyone who thinks the dragonflies are too far away to recognise anything which might be interesting -> you can have a closer look here!)

Argh! Das geht auf den Rücken. Gut, dass ich keine Libelle bin.
Yesterday I made it out to a park and ended up taking multiple shots of dragonflies too! Although yours look much more colorful than the ones I took shots of. They're interesting little creatures, fun to photograph. And I really like how yours turned out. :)
- next one - please.
Both great shots, different too - glad you posted both, yesterdays had a more intense light so the colours came out stronger, excellent perspective too. This one is more intresting in the fact you wonder what they are doing...cracking shots. Thanks for kristofs link too ;)
I'll start by saying that I'm a bigger Depeche Mode fan than Rammstein. That being said, though, I think Rammstein did do a pretty kick ass cover of "Stripped". Enough about Rammstein.
Technically, this is a great picture. The lighting and colors (or colours, depending on your location) are fantastic. The positions of the dragonflies seem almost impossible. I've had to zoom in and study it just to understand who's parts are going where.
Gutes Foto.

I love dragon flies, and I love the time of year when they get busy doing this :-) Nice capture.
