Having the feeling that I should already be in bed does not really help while trying to find a title for today's entry. It is amazing to see what people can create. Sadly she stopped a few seconds after I arrived which means I only had one chance :(
Brilliant framing/cropping in this one. There are just enough of the essential details to tell a story, which keeps me looking at the picture and searching for more clues. I particularly like the transition from rough stone to chiseled stone to her skin. The lighting coupled with the contrasting stone make her skin look almost angelic. I love the hint of goggle, shoulder strap and cloud of stone dust. The details really make this one.
LG [a]
I agree with Ken, the strength of the shot is on its angle, in hinting the scene without fully capturing it inside the frame. This leaves more immagination to the viewer. The dust lifted and covering the hand is great, I can almost feel it on my own hand.
