I realized that it is not that easy anymore to take normal tourist pictures. I go around and in the evening I have pictures of nearly everything but none of them gives me an overview of the area. Do you know what I mean? So here is a shot that might be okay as a tourist one… But still I am not really sure about that.
I have the next two days off and will probably go to Vancouver; which means it will still take a while until I will answer all the emails which are waiting in my inbox. Will be back Friday evening -> so I hope I will post a new shot then.
Muss immer wieder feststellen, dass es gar nicht mehr so leicht ist, einfache touristische Bilder zu machen. Am Ende des Tages habe ich einen Haufen an Bilder von allem was ich so auf meinem Weg finde; aber es ist keins dabei, dass mir einen Überblick gibt, wie es in der Gegend ausschaute. Klingt kompliziert. Verstehst Du, was ich sagen will? Das heutige Bild kommt ein wenig an ein ganz normales Touri-Bild dran.
Die nächsten zwei Tage habe ich frei und somit werde ich wahrscheinlich nach Vancouver fahren, was zur Folge hat, dass die Emails in meinem Posteingang noch eine Weile warten müssen, bis ich sie beantworten werde.

Doch, das geht als Touri-Bild durch :-) Sattes Blau und schöne Spiegelung. So erfährt man doch mal etwas mehr über Deine Umgebung. Viel Spass in Vancouver!

Lovely reflection shot... I just love these. Great color and very crisp lines on the building. This is so much NOT a standard tourist shot. Nice capture, Marina.

Ist es nicht egal, ob es möglicherweise ein Postkartenmotiv ist? Die Landschaft strahlt soviel Ruhe und Gediegenheit aus, dass du dich in einigen Jahren bestimmt gerne an diesen Moment erinnerst.
Ich werde heute auf meiner HP folgenden Satz einfügen:
"Ein Bild ist ein erbärmlicher Ersatz für den Augenblick, aber ich habe ihn festgehalten."
Macht dann unsere Fotografie nicht noch mehr Freude?
Very strong shot, the reflections make it a charming natural mirror. Just one concern about the horizon line, it's barely visible but it seems like it is not straight. Nevertheless, nice shot.

I know exactly what you mean! It's that "something more" isn't it? I had the exact same problem when I was stateside. Although I must say it, I do love this shot! Anything with a good reflection in it, makes good photography if it's taken right and this to me is perfect. :-) Hope you're enjoying it in stateside.

The composition is good, but I wish there were more colors.
Couldn't you saturate them a bit more. Unfortunatly the picture is too dark, we cannot see the house in the background very well.
May be the sun wasn't so shinning as it seems :(
