It took a bit more than six weeks until I decided to post this one. I took the shot on my first day here in Seattle and as you might be able to see I was really jetlagged.
Last week I wrote an email to all the Seattle photobloggers I could find and asked them to meet next Sunday. Right now we are already five people -> I am looking forward to that! So is there anybody is interested to join us?

I like this one.
There is a good composition, you shot right in the center. Good job.
The brightness gives a little impression of a dream.

Not sure I like the grey feel to the blacks, but I like what it's done to your eyes, they really catch my attention!
Nice to meet you Marina! You have done a great job here and i love the processing. Considering doing something myself like this... just need to build up the courage ;)
Interesting visualization of a self-portrait! I do love the slanted lines in the back... I wouldn't have thought to give it the grey/washed look, but it's nice. :) Lovely eyes you have, and I'm always a sucker for redheads. :P Hope you catch up on your sleep. ;)
Wow! Where did you find such an absolutely beautiful creature to pose for this? Is she from a local modeling agency? :-)
Gotta get me one of those "nonaC" cameras too.
Seriously though, I love the shot... love the 'feel' you got from the post-processing... love the bangs hanging in your face... and can't keep from staring at those eyes. Love the bare shoulder too... nice touch. You should be on the lens side of the camera a little more often!!

Interesting portrait, Marina. A very modern style, sor of high-key in color... And... did you paint the walls the same color shades of your hair, or vice versa? ;-)
Wonderful self-portrait. It really is a good day for pics, seen a lot of good ones and this is no exception. I really like this.
I've been doing some fashion and fashion style portraits of late (couple up today). I think you would be a great model, if you're ever in the UK and would be interested, let me know.

Interesting post-processing on this -- the more I look at it, the more I like it. This is a good idea for a self-portrait.

I'm sure there are others in Seattle having
sleepless nights now.

Hi Marina,

Realy nice. Your eyes are very beautiful, but why the photo is without contrast? it's intended to be?
