On Tuesday I will leave Seattle and it is strange how quick the time has gone by. One of my eyes is crying and the other one is smiling: I do not like saying 'good bye' and it is not one of the things I am really good at. I met a bunch of great people and I am sure I will miss them! But I am looking forward to my vacation and also to saying 'hello' back in Germany. This picture is my approach of saying good bye to Seattle and also to everyone I met (Thanks to everyone who spend some time with me -> I REALLY enjoyed my time here a lot!) I took this shot of the sunrise last weekend. Next to a part of the Seattle skyline you can see Mt. Rainier.
Rainier.

Amazing shot! It was great being able to take pictures with you! I look forward to seeing your shots from your upcoming vacation and from the ones for many years to come! (you may want to clean your sensor because it looks like there are some spots from dust).
I knew Seattle was beautiful, but this photo makes it even more beautiful than I have been told. The mountain looks on fire! Have a nice vacation, Marina.
Oh.
Marina: Simply stunning. You must be very happy with your new lens and filter...and judging from this beautiful photo... it's obvious you made the right choice with the wide-angle. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are making your way safely down to California, hopefully, by way of Cannon Beach, Oregon where the scenery will blow you away. Take care and I'll look forward to your vacation pics of the West Coast. All of us at TMO miss you and wish you well. Happy New Year! C.

Lovely shot. I was in seattle in 1980, and the skyline with the Space needle and Mount Rainier is magnificent. This is one of the best that I have seen.
Fantastic! They could use this in promotional brochures for Seattle. I was born there but I have never been back to visit. Both the foreground and background in this silhouette shot are very interesting, which is not something you see every day...usually it is just one or the other.
