I know, I know: I wanted to stop posting grumpy looking pictures of myself but I do not have anything else to take pictures of. Outside it is still snowing and I can't find anything fancy in my apartment. After having some pictures in my mind I started to take some but completely failed and ended up with this one. It is far away from the one I had in mind... Now I hope that I find enough people I can take pictures of... and then I will stop posting these kind of shots!

It may be grumpy but it's a very good exression. Very nice blue tone to set off the mood to.
Hello grumpy you!! I hate those times when you can't find anything to photograph! Still at least you have a good model to work with (which is more than I can say)!! ;)
BTW, love your eyes in this shot!
This is a great self-portrait. The way you're leaning into the frame adds something different and your eyes are looking exactly in the right direction - at the viewer. I like the toning.
You know what? I rather prefer photos of interesting people with grumpy expressions that boring portraits of uninteresting smiling people. And this one works very well for me. I like the way you look at the camera, as if you are challenging the lenses to capture your thoughts. This is very engaging for the viewer, to the point that even while I am writing this comment is a window on the left of my browser, my attention is still drawn to your eyes at the right. I agree with Miles, this is one of your best photos!

I like it. The color and the noise. Nicely framed as well. Takes some courage to post photos of yourself!

moody pic.
i noticed most of your pictures are super saturated. But your self portraits are the opposite.Any reason for that?

I always think that your 'personal' images, the ones you claim to dislike the most, are your best. Maybe it's because they push you that much further.

That's a very nice portrait, great catchlights in the eyes and a nice focus.

It's as if you are daring yourself to make a self portrait - the toning and expression complement each other perfectly.
