I’m nearly back! Since Friday I have a week off and I visited my family for a couple of days. I was in a hurry when I left my apartment and some hours later I had to realise that I forgot my charger for my laptop at home. Not having a computer for some days is not very easy for me - additionally I started to be ill and after a few sick days I went to the doctor who told me that it would be better to stay in bed. Something I can’t really stand for a few days. This morning I felt strong enough to catch a train and have a look at my apartment.
Today’s picture is taken in Ireland and the place is called "Old Head". The whole area is a golf course. While looking at the picture I started to have a Pink Floyd song in mind:
"The grass was greener
The light was brighter
The taste was sweeter

With friends surrounded

Ich bin fast wieder zurück! Seit letzten Freitag habe ich eigentlich Urlaub. Was für eine Freude. So packte ich all meine Sachen und fuhr über einen kleinen Umweg in die Heimat. Nicht lange nach meiner Abfahrt stellte ich fest, dass ich das Aufladegerät für meinen Rechner vergessen hatte und so musste ich einige Tage ohne Rechner und ohne Bilder überleben. Dazu kam dann noch, dass ich mal wieder (seufz) kräftig krank geworden bin. Und so musste ich einige Tage im Bett verbringen, etwas wo drin ich man gar nicht gut bin. Aber seit eben bin ich wieder in meiner Wohnung und hoffe, dass ich auch bald wieder so ganz gesund bin. Mein Urlaub ist leider so gut wie vorbei.
Das heutige Bild ist in Irland aufgenommen und das Landstück heißt "Old Head". Die zu sehende Fläche ist ein Golfplatz und während ich mir so das Bild angesehen habe, kam mir ein Pink Floyd Lied in den Kopf, dass das gerade nicht mehr heraus will (Text siehe weiter oben). So, werdet nicht krank und macht Euch ein schönes Wochenende.
Mir fällt grad auf: Vielleicht wäre es schöner, den Horizont nicht genau in der Mitte zu haben. Anstatt dessen hätte ich wohl unten das gelbe Gras weggeschnitten. Mein Eindruck ...
