It is a self-portrait; well kind of. Some people would say it is more a picture of a picture. In Havanna are several photographers with these very very old cameras. Inside you can develop the pictures just after taking them. It is a funny process: first the photographer makes a shot and develops it. The result is a negative. So he took the negative (put a picture of the Capitol on top -> we would call it photoshoping) and then he makes a pic of the negative. On my picture you can see the final result of the shot he took of me. Does it count as a self-portrait? Anyway. It was a must. Maybe I will also show you a shot of the negative. Not sure yet.
Add on: this is my first Photo Friday Noteworthy (theme: Self-Portrait 2007). Thanks to Kristof for telling me and thanks to the ones who voted the pic.

Es ist ein Selbstportrait. Zumindest so etwas Ähnliches. Andere Leute würden wahrscheinlich sagen, dass es eher das Bild eines Bildes ist. Hier aber nun endlich die Erklärung. In Havanna stehen diverse Photographen mit diesen mega alten Kameras herum. Die, bei denen man das Bild gleich mit entwickelt. Das ganze funktioniert so: zuerst wird ein Bild gemacht, dass gleich in dem Kasten entwickelt wird. Das Ergebnis ist das Negativ. Hier wird nun das Bild von dem Capitol oben drauf gepappt (wir würden das Photoshoping nennen) und dann wird das ganze noch einmal photographiert und wieder entwickelt. Auf meinem Bild ist das letztendliche Ergebnis in der Entwicklungsflüssigkeit zu sehen. Zählt das als Selbstportrait? Keine Ahnung. Aber eigentlich auch nicht wirklich wichtig. War zumindest sehr beeindruckend. Vielleicht kommt noch ein Bild von dem negativ. Mal schauen.

zugegebenermaßen habe ich dich nicht auf anhieb erkannt (musste erstmal den text lesen) :O
mag wohl am "bunten" oberteil liegen ;)
