Today’s picture seems to me different than my other shots. Maybe it is because of the political content or the bizarre touch. I have no idea.
For the ones who are interested in history: The newspaper is called Granma as you can see. In 1956 (December 2nd) 82 revolutionaries (e.g. Che Guevara, Raul Castro and Camilo Cienfuegos) arrived at the Playa de los Colorados in Cuba. The leader of the group was Fidel Castro. Their journey started in Mexico and the motor yacht they were using was called granma.
Das heutige Bild erscheint mir aus derzeit nicht logisch erklärbaren Gründen anders als meine anderen Bilder. Vielleicht weil es etwas politisches hat; vielleicht weil es etwas skurril wirkt. Ich wieß es nicht.
Für diejenigen, die geschichtlich interessiert sind, hier ein kleiner Exkurs: Am 2. Dezember 1956 kamen 82 Revolutionäre (darunter Che Guevara, Raul Castro and Camilo Cienfuegos) unter der Führung von Fidel Castro in Playa de los Colorados (Kuba) an, um das Batista Regime zu stürzen. Die Motoryacht, die sie von Mexiko aus benutzten, trug den Namen Granma.
great fun. the image reminds me of some of my crazy friends and how homesick i am to see them. your information is also great. so many of the bloggers have quit giving us the story. really adds to the image.
