Ok, here is something different. As I mentioned I was in Copenhagen some time ago and some of you might have seen two of my posted shots. While being there I visited the "French Collection" and had a look at another exhibition in the museum. Normally I don’t really like these kind of sculptures but the red background made a nice contrast and therefore I decided to take a picture of art.
Ok, hier ist mal was anderes. Wie ich schon erwähnt hatte, war ich kürzlich für ein paar Tage in Kopenhagen. Dort habe ich mir die "French Collection" angesehen (lustig: die Französische Sammlung in Kopenhagen...). Im Museum war noch eine weitere Ausstellung, von dänischen Künstlern, in der dieses Bild entstanden ist. Normalerweise bin ich von solchen Skulpturen nicht so wirklich begeistert, aber der rote Hintergrund bildete einen interessanten Kontrast und so habe ich ein wenig Kunst abphotographiert.

Gut, dass Du auf den Geschmack gekommen ist. Sonst wäre uns ein wunderschönes Bild vorenthalten worden. Streng komponiert, mit aufregendem Kontrast und trotzdem Ruhe ausstrahlend. Aber das mag an dem versteinerten Gesichtsausdruck liegen ;)
The attraction of sculpture is that we can walk round it and see from different angles . . that process somehow releases a personality that’s more difficult to extract from a paining . . or a photo. Interesting.

Very nice, a portrait of a sculpture. I agree with you that the red in the background really makes the shot work.
